Biographical note
Following the Council meeting at the ICM Congress in September 1981, a new Board of Management was constituted and a questionaire (1982) sent to members for views on the establishment of a regular newsletter, to be published twice a year and enclosed in the main Journal. The first issue of the newletter was printed in June 1988.
