About this work

Description

In Autum 1987 the London Food Commission set up the Nutrition Consultancy Service, primarily to help all those offering a meal service to the public, improve the nutritional quality of that service and bring their meal provision more into line with current dietary guidelines.
These reports cover food strategy for Merseyside, cook-chill at Stanley Royd Hospital in Wakefield, proposals for cook-chill in St Helens & Knowsley Health Authority, Newcastle catering services, Vara Foods Limited, London Borough of Islington's Theberton Street kitchen, menu and meals, catering and cook-chill in Ealing, nutritional analysis of ILEA school meal recipes, menu analysis for the London Borough of Hackney school meals, nutritional assessment of menus from Homestead Residential Home for the Elderly, menus at Girdlestone Children's Day Centre, a food strategy for Cyprus.

Note: some of the correspondence in the Series A/1 may relate to some of these reports the LFC compiled for various organisations.
