Description
The work was dedicated to the Ottoman Sultan Mustafa b. Muhammed and sadrazam (Grand Vizier) Ali Pasha (fol.5b-6a). The work is actually a translation of a well known Persian treatise on medicine by Muhammad Mumin Husaini. A Dictionary of Greek, Arabic and Persian terms with the translation and commentary in Turkish.

European paper. Written area in gold and red frame 15.5 x 8 cm. 29 lines. Black ink with red headings. Catchwords. Coloured unvan (fol. 5b). Fol. 1a-4b – fihrist (table of contents). Ottoman binding of red leather with flap decorated with gilded shemse.
Colophon: Fol. 421a. The copiyst calls himself Halil b. Husayn. Probably a holograph copy. Dated: Zul’hijja 1160 ? (December, 1747).
