Description

A man, clean-shaven, wearing a plumed hat and fur-trimmed outdoor costume of many layers. Seated in a corner by round-arched windows which look down on to rooftops. A table, on which is a teacup, just behind him. The same setting as in Thomson's negative numbers 653 and 654
