![[Document 33—1888.] CITY BOSTON. TWENTY-NINTH ANNUAL REPORT or THE INSPECTOR OE MILK AND VINEGAR, FROM JAN. 1, 1887. TO DEC. 31, 1887. Office of the Inspector of Milk and Vinegar, 1151 Washington Street. To His Honor the Mayor and the Board of Aldermen of the City of Boston: — Can there be any crime more detestable than the mer- cenary villany which would rob the sick and feeble of the indispensable elements of life? She stated that she had a little one, six months old, sick at home, for whom the milk was supplied by a certain milkman at seven cents a quart; she had consulted the dispensary doctor, being too poor to employ any other, and the physician had re- ported that the infant, poor and emaciated, must have pure milk, or it would not live. She said that she had repeatedly spoken to the milkman about his milk, and had told him that she had a sick child and must have good milk.
