About this work

Description

Fibroblast-like cells from the kidney grown in culture and labelled with Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP). They have been treated with Nerve Growth Factor (NGF). As a result of this treatment the cells have become more neural in appearance with growth cones visible at the ends of membrane projections.
