About this work

Description

After a car accident a man finds himself permanently dependent on a ventilator and asks that it be removed and he be allowed to die. The doctor refuses and the case is heard by the hospital ethics committee. The doctor, a nurse and the patient's wife give evidence and their testimony serves as a framework for the film.
