Description

Louis Cobbett is preparing a syringe to inject into a hamster seated on his knee

Alfred Joseph Clark, author of Applied pharmacology, and Professor of Materia Medica at Edinburgh University, entered Cambridge University as an undergraduate in 1903. It seems likely, therefore, that the date of the original photograph (of which this is a copy) is circa 1905
