About this work

Description

Notes on diseases and their treatment: in Latin. Extracted from the writings of Andrea Pasta and others: with some cases. The first work (16 ff.) has a title: 'Andreae Pasta Bergomensis de Morbo Gallico', and also contains his 'De morbillis et variolis'. This is followed by 'Ternio 1', ending at Ternio 7, each of which contains accounts of diseases with their remedies and includes illustrative cases. Inserted loose before 'Ternio 1' is a receipt signed 'Fr[ancesc]o Zorati', by a hand resembling that of the MS., and perhaps written some years later. A MS. title on the spine could also possibly read 'Fran. Zorati Pract[ica]'. Produced in Bergamo?
