To the LEXDEN and winstree rural DISTRICT COUNCIL. Colchester 20th March, 1896. Mr. Chairman and Gentlemen, It is now my duty to lay before you my annual report for 1895. Your district consists of thirty-six parishes, Area and having an area of 71,186 acres, and a population Population. as per 1891 census, of 21,566, and an estimated population to the middle of 1895 of 22,761. During the year 817 deaths have been Deaths. registered in the district, at the following ages:—
