    Discussion 71 Comings: It has been used for ordinary histones, and remarkable heterogeneity was found. Benson: I think you suggested that there might be some common ancestry to the three PGM loci. Is there any evidence that the proteins producing these loci are related—immunological cross-reactivity or structural evidence? Hopkinson: They are about the same molecular size, although there is a slight difference. Immunologically I do not think that there is any information.
