Description
Letters from William Beatty, who attended Nelson at Trafalgar, to Emma, Lady Hamilton (1761?-1815), on his subsequent career.
The letters include a notice of Beatty's appointment as Physician to the Channel Fleet in 1806; an appeal for preferment on behalf of George Magrath; and a request for Lady Hamilton's assistance in Beatty's efforts to be made Physician extraordinary to the Prince of Wales.
