    W. Spicer. Lowther s Anti-epileptic Powders. NOW KNOW YE, that in compliance with the said proviso, I, the said William Lowther, do hereby declare that my said new Invention is composed and prepared of the several particulars, and in manner following (that is to say):—Pulvis holly, pulvis rorismarino, pulvis humani cranum, pulvis elebore, pulvis peonoe, pulvis nitrse, pulvis virmis, and foals bitt, to be made into a fine 5 powder, and mixed together for use. In witness whereof, I, have hereunto set my hand and seal, this Twentyeth day of September, in the year of our Lord God One thousand seven hundred and fifty-five. WILLIAM LOWTHER. (l.s.) 10 Signed, sealed, and delivered (being first duly stampt, in the presence of us, John Way. Abrm Senior. AND BE IT REMEMBRED, that on the Twenty-third day of September, 15 in the year last above written, the aforesaid William Lowther came before the said Lord the King in His Chancery, and acknowledged the above- written Instrument, and all and every thing therein contained and specified, in form abovesaid. And also the Instrument aforesaid was stampt according to the tenor of the Statute made in the sixth year of the reign of the late King 20 and Queen William and Mary of England, & so forth.
