About this work
Description
Should parents give their babies the single MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccination? Reports linking the jab with an increased number of cases of autism and chronic bowel disease in young children leave many parents in a dilemma; should they protect their children against one set of diseases at the risk of them developing another? Two undecided couples with baby daughters are shown six short films, half of which are generally in favour of the MMR jab and half are generally against it. Then they are invited to put questions to people featured in the films, which include parents and members of the medical profession. In the end both sets of parents seem in favour of giving their daughters separate single vaccinations.
