About this work

Description

Calendar blotter for July and August 1931 issued by Fairchild Brothers & Foster and their UK agents, Burroughs, Wellcome & Co. advertising 'Zymine' peptonising tubes, "the first peptonising powder made ... for the preparation of peptonised milk, and other foods for the sick." This would have been one of a series of blotters sent out to members of the medical profession every 2 months. The blotters have a small line illustration above the calendar grid of something relating to that time of year or something in a themed series. In this case a fishing boat at anchor next to a capstan on the quayside in a harbour.
