A dissertation on artificial teeth in general. Exposing the defects and injurious consequences of all teeth made of animal substances, the corruptibility and dangers of which are at present acknowledged by the faculty; the superior advantages of teeth made of a mineral and incorruptible composition are fully demonstrated, approved, and recommended by the faculty and Royal Society of Medicine, by the academies of sciences and surgery, and by many eminent physicians and surgeons in Paris, London, &c. By M. Dubois de Chemant, surgeon of Paris, residing at present in London, and inventor of those teeth, for which he has obtained His Majesty's Royal letters patent.
