Description

The plate shows Henri in 16 different situations, all imaginary. The top left (no. 5) shows him in a state of imbecility and intoxication (but, Lavater says, "even here we admire and respect him"). Top right (6) shows vexation mixed with disdain. Bottom left (7) terror and rage. Bottom right (8) a degree of fear, imbecility and relaxation
