Talking about drugs. Pt. 1, Society.

Programme aimed at young people explaining the history and dangers of drug abuse. Presented by actor Todd Carty, the programme begins with clips from television programmes such as 'Absolutely Fabulous' and 'The Bill', dealing with drug abuse. A fake 'newsreel' section charts the history of drug-taking, to illustrate that the problem of drugs is not a new one. A section on drugs and the law explains the categories of different drugs and the possible prison sentences that may result from possession or dealing of drugs.
