    4. Sweat day and night, following heat. Profuse night-sweat over the whole body, most copious after midnight and early in the morning, in bed. ANACARDIUM ORIENTALE. (Anac,) 1. Pulse accelerated, with beating in the blood-vessels. 2. Chill and chilliness with trembling, particularly in the open air, passing off in the sun. Shivering over the back, as if cold water was poured over it, with heat of the fate. Internal chill even in the warm room. 8. External heat with internal chill. Heat of the upper body, with cold feet, internal shiverings and hot breath. Heat, from 4 P. M. till evening, daily, passing off after supper. 4. Evening sweat on the head, abdomen and back, even when sitting quiet. Night sweat on the abdomen and back. Clammy sweat in the palms, particularly the left. Cool sweat with in- ternal heat. ANGUSTURA. (Angust.) 1. Pulse accelerated, spasmodic, irregular and at times inter- mitting. 2. Chill, in the morning in bed, and in the forenoon, preceeded by thirst. Severe internal chill every afternoon (3 P. M.). Re- peated shiverings over the affected part.- Shivering in the back 9 a. M. 3. Heat in the evening, most in the face, after coming into the room and after supper. Heat after midnight (3 A. M.) which disturbs sleep, soon followed by shivering. 4. Sweat only in the morning, and only on the forehead. ANTIMONIUM CRUDUM. (Ant. crud.) 1. Pulse extremely irregular, now accelerated and again slow, changing every few beats. 2. Chill predominating during the day, even in the warm room Violent shaking chill toward noon, with thirst (for beer). Sen- sitive cold feeling in the nose, during inspiration through the same. Shivering over the back; feet cold as ice, with sweat on the rest of the body. C. Hg.
