An Antiseptic and Astringent Powder for the preparation of a mouth wash to be used by the patient at home after extraction. This mouth wash also prevents septic complications. Is. per doz. packets. ACOLITE. This is a metal produced for the specific purpose of restoring broken-down and lost tooth stnicture. It is silvery white in colour, is un- affected by the oral secretions, be they alkaline or acid, is not subject to discolouration in the mouth, and is a mnximum resistant of galvanic action. Acolite is a casting metal, and is peculiarly adapted for large res- torations of decayed and broken-down teeth. In cases where roots are involved in the process of decay to the extent of being beyond the limit of restoration by other methods, they may readily be built up by the use of Acolite, and mounted with crowns. Acolite is the only base metal that is equal to gold for its purpose at a tenth of the cost. Owing to the low fusibility of Acolite, it may be cast direct to porcelain without danger of checking, and it may be cast with the Elgin or any other casting apparatus.
