Ministry of Health files at The National Archives (TNA) MH 55/2212 discuss the poster and indicate it was in circulation in mid-1959. An internal Ministry of Health memorandum in TNA file MH 55/2469 suggests this would have be used no earlier than September 1958 and no later than February 1960.
