About this work

Description

Confocal micrograph of the brain of a transgenic zebrafish embryo. Some neurons express the green fluorescent protein (GFP) - shown in green under the control of a specific promotor. Tracts, axons and neuropils have been labeled using antibodies against tubulin (red) and synaptic vesicles (blue). In this example the brain has been dissected out, removing skin and eyes. The image is a dorsal (back) view of the brain.
