The People’s Edition of the Naturalist’s Li- brary will commence with ORNITHOLOGY (Birds), beginning with those of Great Britain and Ireland ; and the Ornithology will be completed before com- mencing MAMMALIA (Animals), which will follow in a similar order; to be succeeded by ENTOMO- LOGY (Insects); and concluding with ICHTHYO- LOGY (Fishes); thus containing and exhibiting the fullest Scientific, Pictorial, and Popular Digest of the objects which constitute the ANIMAL KINGDOM, to be found in any work extant, whether of British or Foreign origin.
