Notes

The new asylum at Charminster had been built over the last 3 years and at the end of 1863 most male patients had been moved to it from the old one at Forston, where a few remained "for menial service on the establishment of that place" with all of the female patients
Consists of the report of the Committee of Visitors (John Floyer, chairman), the report of the Medical Superintendent (J. Gustavus Symes), the report of the Commissioners in Lunacy (R.W.S. Lutwidge and S. Gaskell), report of the chaplain (Frederick J. Moule) statistical tables and financial accounts (Jno. Brown, clerk)
