Andry de Boisregard, fanciful animal, Vers Solitaires 1718

Animal described by the wife of a Marshall at Hanover. This animal has no bones and the claw is of soft flesh as is the whole body and the crest on the head. Below: part of Toenia dried specimen showing the grains on the spine.
