    pv From the many Extraordinary well Authenticated Cures already publifhed, fome of which are here inierted, and the daily Proofs Mr. Norton has of the Efficacy of his Drops (called Mare- pant’s, he can juftly recommend them as Effectual in entirely Eradicating the following Diforders, which he is convinced, from experience, arife from the fame Caufe, viz. The Leprofy, Scur¬ vy, old Sores or Ulcers, large Blotches or Boils, the Evil, Fiftulas, Piles, Pimpled Faces, long continued Inflammation of the Eyes, Bilious Colic, St. Anthony’s Fire, Scorbutic Gout and Rheumatifm; and every other Diforder arifmg from aFoul- nefs of the Blood. They alfo perfeCt Digeftion, and amazingly create an Appetite by (Lengthening the Stomach, and will ad: as a Reflorative to the moft reduced Conftitmion. Their fingular Efficacy in removing the Maladies too frequently the Confe- quence of Inoculation, however fkilfullv pradifed, induces him earneftly to recommend them, allured of their happy Fffeds in Cafes, even when, from a long Continuance of Sharp Corroding ‘Ulcers, the Bones have been ultimately afFeded, and the Limbs endangered. The Safety with which they may be adminiftered to Children and Infants, is an additional Encouragement to the timely ufe of them. Thefe Drops are fold in Square Bottles, by Mr. Norton, Sur¬ geon, Golden Square, London, at Half a Guinea and Six Shillings each •, with the following lnfcripnon on them, viz. ('JOHN NOR¬ TON, only Proprietor and Author of MAREDAN f’s DROPS) *, thofeo i Half a Guinea are fold at his Houle only, therefore mufl be * Genuine: the others are doubtful, unlels bought of him, as he is continually informed of, or difcovers a Spurious Sort’s being cir¬ culated, more particularly in the Country, imitating his in Colour, Sealing, and Bills of Direction, and, the more effectually to deceive, with his Hand-writing counterfeited : Fie therefore beg$, that who¬ mever are inclined to take his Bottles of Six Shillings, will be ex¬ tremely cautious of whom they buy them. If the Integrity of the Country Vender is in the lead doubted, the Drops mult be had from Mr. Norton, who, immediately on the Receipt of a Letter, will take care that whatever is ordered (to be paid for on Delivery) (hall be fafely conveyed according to Direction •, by which Means only can he be aniwerable tor the Confequence.
