![[6 ] whild the Circumdances of the Corpora¬ tion are fuch as to admit only a limited Number, each Child fhall be infpected, as hereafter directed •, and the Porter is to take Care that the Perfbn who brought it does not go away, until the Child is re¬ ceived or returned. No Child fhall be re¬ turned who is not above the Age of two Months, except fuch as has the French Pox, Evil, Leprofy, or Difeafe of the like Nature. And in order to know what Children are healthy, the chief Nurfe (with fuch other Nurfe as fhe fhall think iit to call to her Abidance) and the Apo¬ thecary of the Houfe (fo foon as one fhall be appointed) fhall inipeft every Child as foon as it is brought to the Hofpital, and fhall diredt which fhall be received into the Hofpital, and which at prefent fhall be returned, or hereafter otherwife difpofed of. Immediately on the Reception of each Child, the Steward fliall enter on a Sheet of Paper, its Sex, fuppofed Age, the Year. Day, and Hour when brought, Defcriptiqn of the Child, the Marks (if any) on its Body, and the Child’s Drefs •, and particu¬ lar Mention is to be made of any Writing or other Thing brought with the Child.
