The file comprises:
1. Single-sheet letter, dated 14 June, 1883, to Burroughs Wellcome & Co, headed "Re Horsfords Acid Phosphate"
2. On notepaper of US Consulate Sydney, a document transferrng "Trade Mark No. 2027/1 Class 3" from Burroughs (of Snow Hill London) to Horsford Acid Phosphate Co, signed and witnessed, with red seal. Only the year of the transfer (1883) is given - the exact day of transfer has not been completed.
