Description
Cervical dysplasia
This is florid human papillomavirus (HPV) infection of the ectocervix. The ectocervical epithelium contains numerous abnormal cells in the upper part with single or multinuclei, with clear halos. This is marked koilocytosis due to HPV infection. The abnormalities of the basal layer are minimal and do not amount to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). H&E stain.
