About this work

Description

Four penis sheaths, four penis rings, one finger sheath (all made from tortoiseshell) with three brass bells and one wooden dildo are inside this box. Dildos are objects shaped like erect penises. These items were for sexual pleasure and stimulation. Tortoiseshell is not from tortoises but from turtles. The box was made by Arita Drug and Rubber Goods Co, in Kobe, Japan. maker: Arita Drug and Rubber Goods Company Place made: Kobe, Hyogo, Kinki, Japan
