Description

An episode of the Australian documentary, 60 Minutes, which has a feature on the drug thalidomide. Two Australian women affected by the drug and their parents speak to camera of the effects it has had on their lives. Dr Martin Johnson, Director of the Thalidomide Trust, speaks about the history of the drug and its Nazi heritage - archive footage of German scientists is shown. Ken Youdale describes how Grunenthal, the German drug company who invented thalidomide, has still not been brought to justice.
