Description

Image of a Boxfoot cuff microscope by French maker Passemant made in the mid eighteenth century in Paris. The Nachet Collection was a large set of microscopes collected by Albert Nachet and acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum (accession number R223/1949). The microscope is now held by the Science Museum (object number: A67393).
