Papers and correspondence relating to Dr MacKeith's legal work as an expert psychiatric witness, 1980s-1990s. MacKeith was a forensic psychiatrist for over 30 years, specialising in false confessions.

James MacKeith (b.1938). MacKeith worked as a forensic psychiatrist at Broadmoor Hospital, 1974-1977, and Bethlem Royal and Maudsley Hospitals, 1977-1999.
