Description

This is a report of a mock trial of the National DNA Database which took place on Saturday 8th November 2008 at Cardiff Crown Court. During the trial, thirty seven young people aged between 15-19 years from South Wales acted as the jury, the prosecution and the defense. The charge was "That the government would be guilty of causing an unreasonable threat to the civil liberties of the citizens of the United Kingdom by the creation of a Universal DNA database" --page 2.
