Description

Letter from Francis Galton to Sir Douglas informing him of the background to a proposed committee to look at the printing of ordnance maps, including constitution of the committee, and asking how to proceed. The letter encloses a motion note to the British Association for the forming of a committee, and a letter from the British Association containing the Resolution on committee procedures [a section has been cut out of the centre of the letter].
