    OF THE COMMITTEE OF VISITORS OF THE COUNTY LUNATIC ASYLUM AT PRESTWICK, TO THE ADJOURNED ANNUAL SESSION HELD AT PRESTON ON THURSDAY, THE 27th DAY OF DECEMBER, 1866. To Her Majesty s Justices of the Peace for the County of Lancaster, in Annual General Session assembled. County Lunatic Asylum, Prestwick, 26tli December, 1866. # , In accordance with the provisions of the Act 16 and 17 Victoria, cap. 97, the Committee of Visitors of the County Lunatic Asylum at Prestwick, present their Report for the past year to the Court of Annual General Session. The Asylum is, generally, in a good state ot repair, and continued care has been taken to maintain the buildings in a satisfactory condition, by, as far as possible, utilizing the labour of the patients. The detached hospital for contagious and infectious diseases is rapidly approaching completion. The Committee expect it will be ready for occupation in the Spring.
