Box file containing items of ephemera in acid free sleeves. Mostly before 1850, they include material about: priests mentioning James and Charles Stuart in July 1649, a young girl going into a trance and speaking about God and hell (Padiham, Lancashire), catholicism and theosophy, fiery visions in the sky above Plymouth and Loughsihe (Scotland), hymns and prayers, orazione to Santa Emidio and a coroncina to Santa Gaetano, leaflets explaining indulgences de la porciuncula (Manresa and Gerona), a 1773 account of the friendship between 'macaroni preacher', Mr. D... and Mrs. R..., a description of a journey from Jericho to the Dead Sea including much natural history, 4 sets of 4 Christmas seals or gummed stickers promoting Christianity, Martin Luthor Education memorial (1950s?), 'War relief' (seals / Cinderella stamps : New Church Missions : 1940s?), a spoof £1000000 note (Bank of Eternity) with portraits of Winston Churchill and William Wilberforce (Operation 513 : 2014).
