Description

Prevention of low birth weight This health worker is talking to a pregnant woman outside her home in rural India. Home visits by trained health workers are a good way of ensuring that women in rural areas receive proper care during pregnancy. Such visits also give health workers the opportunity for one-to-one counselling.
