Description

Reproduction of the title page from Irving, Ralph: Experiments on the red and quill Peruvian bark : with observations on its history, mode of operation, and uses Edinburgh, MDCCLXXXV [1785]. The title page was possibly reproduced as as part of the printed books lent by the Royal Society of Medicine, London for Malaria section of the international celebration and exhibition : three hundredth anniversary of the first recognized use of cinchona by Europeans, 1630-1930, an exhibition hosted by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1930. The printed book is listed as exhibit no. 442 in the souvenir catalogue.
