    THE SANITARY CONDITION OP THE BOROUGH OF BIRKENHEAD DURING 1881. Report of the Medical Officer of Health to the Health Committee. A Census was taken in England and Wales on April 4tk, 1881, and a preliminary report on the same was issued a few months later. The return of houses building was also too low by 8G, and the return of uninhabited houses too high by 76.
