About this work

Description

Dr. Charles Jernegan writes to Richard Bellings-Arundell about his intended marriage to Lady Elizabeth Roper. He says that his support is important to them both, and informs Bellings-Arundell that he has recently been very lucky in "stock-jobbing" and has made money from this.

In addition, he sends prescriptions for Bellings-Arundell's daughter and advises her to consult a Monsieur Chirac "in my name."
