    INJURIES. Ricuter’s prophecy is fast receiving its fulfilment.* There is not a civilized country on the face of the earth, where, within the last fifty years, Homceopathy has not reared its standard, and gathered around it a band of devoted adhe- rents. In Germany, after many struggles against all kinds of adversity, it has been fully recognized; is now fostered and protected by government; and enjoys its hospitals, lectures, and university examiners. In France, Austria, Russia, Prussia, and Italy; im short, in every continental country—it has its hosts of followers. In the new world it has been embraced with all the ardour of a young and enthu- siastic people; and so rapid has been its progress, that in -some parts of the United States, the practice of medicine is said to be nearly equally divided between the two systems.
