The text states: Abundant dew is obtained in the autumn, when dew is plentiful. It is collected in bowls left out in the open air. Heated till thick and consumed, it has the effects of conferring longevity and assuaging hunger. Liquor made with abundant dew is called qiulu bai (autumn dew white [spirit]). It is particularly fragrant and delicate in flavour.
