    Form.—Symmetry, at first sight, in radial vertical planes around centre of body-tube; in reality bilateral. Skeleton internal or external. Wall of body-tube consists of two membranes (ectoderm and endoderm), comparable to the serous and mucous layers of the vertebrate germ. Thread-cells.
