    suffering from heart disease who cannot visit Nauheim owing to their inability to give up their occupation, on which their daily bread is dependent. Moreover, Nauheim is only available for a few months in the summer. Alas! heart disease cannot wait for the summer season ; thus a vast number of the most important cases must fall back upon the treatment at home, summer or winter. The treatment is so definite that it can be carried out at home under the supervision of the family doctor. To the latter this little publication is specially dedicated, in the hope that it may help in their own practice at home as much as it has helped me in mine.
