    record my experiences on the subject of Spiritual Healing. Where the truth is so evident and palpable to oneself, it is hard to realise why there should be so much objection, so much disbelief, so much scorn in others. There are obviously very many who have had personal experience, and who have been witnesses of the happy results, who are absolute believers, but even amongst my old friends and acquaintances, in as far as I can judge their inner thoughts, there are some who either cannot or will not bring them¬ selves to believe. Quite recently a man whom I have known intimately for years, who had had frequent opportunities of seeing and hearing of the results of my treatment, and who came to me as a sufferer to be treated, said to me, c To be candid with you, I have never really believed in you until now ’—after having personally experienced relief from all pain.
