Portret van Jan de Doot naar de gravure van C. Visscher. Jan de Doot was een smid te Amsterdam die zichzelf in 1651 met een mes den buik opensneed om zich van een blaassteen te bevrijden. Portrait of Jan de Doot after an engraving by C. Visscher. Jan de Doot was a smith at Amsterdam who in 1651 cut open his belly with a knife to deliver himself of a gravel.
