Description

A reproduction of a photograph of a print illustration from the book Mélanges d'archéologie by Charles Cahier and Arthur Martin, published in 1851. The illustrations are plate number XXVII. The main illustratoin seen shows the mythical beast "Caladre" who was believed to be a bird which can tell if a sick man will die, and can cure disease.
