    a Yellow Fever, within a few day's—that Andrew Hamilton, brother of our late Governor Hamilton, with about forty others of thofe in the neighbour- hood of the bridge, had died of the fame fever, which was confined in its ravages to that part of the city—I think altogether—at leafi; 1 do not recol- left to have heard otherwife. In 1762 a fhip from the Weft Indies came to the Sugar-houfe wharf, below South-ftreet; three men were landed from her, and died of a contagious fever in the neighbourhood, where about fixty others alfo died of the fame fever, as it was believed at the time.
