Description

On febrifuges. Alcohol (Incomplete). Translations by Dr. Edward Isaac Sparks [1843-1880], the first probably holograph, the second by a different hand. The article on Alcohol is found on ff. 22-25. A translation of 'Febrifuges' was printed in 'The Practitioner' 1876, Vol. XVI, pp. 281, 359, 432.

Biographical note

Binz was professor of pharmacology at Bonn University from 1873 and founder of the Pharmacological Institute there in 1869. His 'Grundzüge der Arzneimittellehre' was first published in 1866, and there were numerous later editions.
